Mercy Girl is sensory euphoria and contemplation. Formed in 2024 by members Daisy Miles, Davey Purdie, Craig Harkness and Kylie MacNaughton, the Glasgow based electronic outfit explore themes of love, despair and the uncertainty of the human experience. Taking inspiration from EBM, Darkwave and Electro-Pop, Mercy Girl invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway, and the surrender of a neon-hazed dancefloor. They will be bringing along their latest album Punisher.
MOTHERMARY makes retro-futuristic Art Pop that refuses to behave. Named after the mother of Christ — the ultimate symbol of religious hypocrisy and the impossible expectations placed on women — the project is the brainchild of identical twins Elyse & Larena, who grew up in a strict Mormon family in Missoula, Montana, the youngest of nearly a dozen children. "It was our world... our paradigm," Larena says about those days. "We were brainwashed"

Since launching in November 2024, the band have amassed a global audience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly played at, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin. The band sold out their debut headline show in The Hug and Pint in Glasgow and have shared the stage with Justin Warfield (She Wants Revenge) at a sold out Oslo in Hackney, London. Their latest single ‘No Sound’ was featured as Track of the Week on BBC 6 Music, alongside strong support from BBC Introducing Scotland with an Artist of the Week full feature.
Mothermary
The sound Elyse and Larena have created is extremely specific. The contrast of light and dark — exquisite, ethereal vocals against gritty, propulsive instrumentation — is a sonic representation of sisters who have always refused to be pinned down or defined. Their 2022 debut album I Am Your God (Italians Do It Better) was a dazzling baptism into the cult of MOTHERMARY, corrupting religious ritual while salvaging its beauty. The album garnered critical acclaim from Pitchfork, The Fader, Gorilla vs. Bear, Mojo, and Record Collector, establishing the twins as vital voices in the art-pop landscape. In November 2025, MOTHERMARY released Non-Duality, a 4-track EP that pushes their vision further. The title references the illusion of separateness — the false binary between sacred and profane, virgin and whore, suffering and beauty. It's an invitation to step into your own godhood. The EP's lead single "For You" comes with a music video that's equal parts pop art and passion play: a candy-colored, campy meditation on how we've aestheticized Christ's crucifixion for centuries. "Churches worldwide display this moment of absolute horror to inspire devotion," Elyse explains. "We're just pushing that distance from reality even further."
