From Montreux Jazz Festival to Sonar Barcelona, Cem Yildiz has performed at major electronic and world music festivals across Europe and Turkey, continuously reinventing his signature sound on stage. His journey, which began with album “HÜ” - composed of Alevi songs - deepened with bands Orient Expressions and Insanlar.
His international hits “Stil”, “Ejma” and “Atlas”, created in collaboration with Acid Arab, are also part of this ongoing exploration. Referring to his recent albums “Kün”, “Şah” and “Ben Uçarım Gökler Uçar” (I Fly, The Skies Fly), Yıldız states: “Theses albums are the tangible outcome of the sound I have been pursuing for years”.
