INTRODUCTION TO THE FORUM

Dear all, thank you for joining !

This forum was created in october 2009, thanks to the efforts of Bjoern and Falk, from the STUBNITZ.

With the fast extension of our network, it will soon become our main tool of communication, towards our partners; supports; public... (External communication) as well as among each other (internal communication).

Some elements about:
I/ External communication
II/ Internal Communication
III/ Technical Aspects
IV/ Forum's summary

I/ External communication:

The SIM project being a participative one, it matters that our actual or future partners, supporters and friends as well as our public, may follow in real time its implementation.

Hence, the forum topics are public and will be upgraded continually in order to show in what directions this project is developing.

On a later stage, they will form part of the material of the "yet to come" definite STUBNITZ IN MED website.

II/ Internal communication:

This forum is of a limited access, which has two consequences:

1/ Only registered partners of the project can post a comment and enter into a discussion.

2/ Those comments and discussions remain hidden to the public.

Or at least they remain hidden until they have reached enough a stage of maturation to make them public.

The question of who should be granted be the possibility to take part to this communication plate-forme hasn't received a definite answer yet.

So far it has been given to the sole founding coordinators and local or national coordinators of the project, but this possibility should be extended soon.

III/ Technical aspects:

Sharing files and so on. the maximum uploadsize per file is 64MB, the maximum space to be consumed by each user is 200MB, its only possible to upload files with suffixes like: .jpg .jpeg .gif .png .txt .doc .xls .pdf .ppt .pps .odt .ods .odp

If some other filetypes are needed, just write a short notice to bjoern@stubnitz.com.
