SITUATION IN TUNISIA :
This forum topic aims at gathering and presenting all of the information related to the implementation of the SIM project in Tunisia.
It is organized around the three following topics: I/Local Network; II/Temporary local festival format and III/ Feasibility study.

I/ SIM LOCAL NETWORK :
a/ Operational crew:
Coordination : M. AFIF (LE FEST)
Coordination Support: Mme Zeynab Ferhat has been contacted, who introduced the SIM project to mister Raouf Abdelmar. M. Abdelmar already organized a similar event a few years ago and could help us deal with the institutional aspects of this operation.

b/ Artistic Network:
M. Afif is currently establishing a “Mister Afif’s ideal musical library of Tunisia”, that will be added to the site’s “artists info” section.

c/ Media supports:

II/TEMPORARY LOCAL FESTIVAL FORMAT:
a/ Targeted Harbors:
Tunis / Carthage (Idealy)
Othe options: Monastir ? Sousse ? Amamet ?

b/ Timeframe:
Agadir: July 2012

III/ FEASIBILITY STUDY:
The relationship with M. Afif just started, so nothing could be undertaken so far.
It is solely after our meeting in Rostock, during which he will be given all necessary information about the ship, that we will start and establish relationships with the port authorities.

As a rough estimation of the feasibility, even if it may seem difficult to moor in the biggest commercial harbors (la goulette), solutions may eventually be found in Sousse, Monastir or Amamet.
