SITUATION IN MOROCCO :
This forum topic aims at gathering and presenting all of the information related to the implementation of the SIM project in Morocco.
It is organized around the three following topics: I/Local Network; II/Temporary local festival format and III/ Feasibility study.

I/ SIM LOCAL NETWORK :
a/ Operational crew:

c/ Media supports:
Nothing yet.
Two very dynamic radio stations have been identified in Agadir and will be contacted as soon as the project has consequently developed.

II/TEMPORARY LOCAL FESTIVAL FORMAT:
a/ Targeted Harbors:
Agadir / Casablanca / Tanger.

b/ Timeframe:
Agadir: January 2012
Casablanca: February 2012
Tanger: March 2012

III/ FEASIBILITY STUDY:
Agadir:
Fruitful meetings were held on the 1st and 2nd of February with the representatives of the region of Souss-Massa-Drâa, the port of Agadir and the mayor.
The SIM representatives (MM. Brahim El Mazned (TIMITAR); Rachid Moutchou (LE BOULEVARD); Urs Blaser (MS STUBNITZ); Thierry Jaussoin (MS STUBNITZ) and Cyril Tomas Cimino (Bi-POLE) could present their project and received a positive feedback.
The port authorities and the region were very helpful in finding a solution for the mooring of the ship in the most convenient timeframe.
=>Most probably, the SIM festival could start in Agadir in the beginning (January) of 2012.

Casablanca / Tanger:
The situation in Tanger and Casablanca is a little more difficult, due to drastic security regulations in those strategic harbors.
No action has been really undertaken so far in Casablanca and Agadir.
